Manchester United midfielder, Ander Herrera has reportedly agreed to personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain ahead of a move to the French Ligue 1 side in the summer.
Herrera’s Manchester United contract expires at the end of the season and the Mirror reports that the player, who will become a free agent on July 1, 2019, has agreed to a deal worth £160,000 a week with PSG.
Manchester United have been keen to extend Herrera’s contract, but have been taken aback by former Atletico Bilbao player’s demands that his weekly wage is increased from the current £60,000 to £200,000.
The Red Devils’ refusal to bow to the Spaniard’s demands, according to the British tabloid, has led the latter to accommodate the advances of the Parisians and their lucrative offer.
The former Athletic Bilbao midfielder has played 22 Premier League games for Manchester United this season, scoring just two goals and assisting in three while also recording no goal in two Champions League appearances.
Despite his request being considered huge by the club, his age is reportedly one of the factors causing the Old Trafford outfit to drag their feet as he turns 30 this summer.
Herrera joined Manchester United on a four-year deal from Spanish LaLiga side Athletic Bilbao in 2014 for a fee of €36 million (£28.85 million).
