Cavani Chides Media Over Supposed Neymar Feud

Paris Saint Germain striker, Edinson Cavani, has slammed the media for suggesting there is a feud between him and his teammate, Neymar.
Cavani was booked for a challenge on Neymar when Uruguay lost 1-0 to Brazil at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium last week and appeared incensed at his PSG strike partner for making the most of a minimal tackle.
The former Napoli striker was asked about the incident in a post-match interview after Uruguay’s 1-0 loss to France on Tuesday, and he reacted angrily to any hearsays of disharmony.
"You need to stop this," he told L'Equipe. "It's you, the media, that are creating something from nothing.”
"On the outside, everybody has his own life. On the inside, everyone works for the best interests of the club."
The relationship between Cavani and Neymar was called into question, following clashes over penalty-taking duties in a game against Lyon in September 2017.
The pair clashed again in January this year when Neymar denied Cavani the chance to become PSG’s all-time top scorer by taking a penalty in an 8-0 win over Dijon even though the Brazilian was already on a hat-trick.
