Sarri Admits His Job Is At Risk

By Joshua Walters

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has admitted to fearing for his job after leading the Blues to a 6-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday.

The Stamford Bridge side defeat saw Sergio Aguero's hat-trick, two goals from Raheem Sterling and one from iIkay Gundogan.

The result marked the Blues' heaviest ever defeat in the Premier League after recording a 4-0 lost to Bournemouth weeks ago and the Italian trainer has accepted at the post-match conference his position in the club is under threat.

The former Napoli manager after the match told reporters that he is aware of the uncertainties surrounding his job but stressed that the club would be in a better position to answer questions about his future.

"You have to ask the club. I am worried about my team."

"I am worried about the performance, but my job is always at risk. So, I am not worried about the club. You have to ask the club."

Chelsea now move to sixth position with the in-form Manchester United taking their place in fourth place, leading the Blues with just a point after twenty-six games.

Chelsea have lost three games in four league matches, winning just once in a 5-0 demolition of Huddersfield Town at the Stamford Bridge last weekend.
