Bit-Part Role Frustrates Christensen

Chelsea's defender, Andreas Christensen, has been left frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities this season.
The 22-year old, who earned 40 appearances in all competitions last season, has told BT in Denmark he would leave the English side if things do not improve.
Christiansen had his breakthrough season at Chelsea under Antonio Conte last year, after series of loan spells at German side Borussia Monchengladbach.
He dislodged David Luiz from the centre-back position under the Italian trainer, whose place has been taken by Maurizio Sarri.
The tables have turned under Sarri, and Luiz has reclaimed the position and forced Christiansen to the sidelines again.
“I cannot show so much patience again. I am 22 years old and really want to play. In the last three seasons, I have played a big role in the teams I have been with, so it is clear that I cannot see myself staying in my current situation if it continues in the future."
“It is not a good season for me, but I have to find some way to get back on. How? I do not know, but it is up to me to figure that out.”
Sarri has changed Chelsea's style of play, and the side are unbeaten in the Premier League after eight games aside and has a 100 per cent record in the Europa League after two matches.
“But right now it looks hard. We have good results and we play super football, which only makes it harder. It's hard for me personally, but for the team, it looks great.'
“It’s too early to talk about change for now, and when that might happen, but it’s clear that this is not a good situation for me.”
