Mbappe Set To Make Injury Return For PSG
Kylian Mbappe is keen on featuring for Paris Saint-Germain for the first time since August in a victory over Toulouse according to manager Thomas Tuchel on Friday.
The World Cup winner has been in-active for the Parisians for quite a long time, but is set to be in action for the side when they visit Bordeaux over the weekend.
"Kylian and Mauro are in the squad and are available to play some minutes," Tuchel said.
Due to the injury suffered by Mbappe, the 20-year-old forward has been sidelined in most curial fixtures as he also missed the side’s recent shocking home defeat to Reims.
With injuries leaving PSG with an attacking options of Neymar and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, the French Ligue 1 champions have been handed a major boost in their attacking department as loanee striker Mauro Icardi also return from a minor problem after the victory over Real Madrid on September 18, missing two games thus far.
Aside PSG being happy with the return of their strong attacking figures, Edison Cavani is still serving a spell on the sidelines as he nurses a hip injury.
PSG, after a meeting with Bordeaux will travel to Istanbul on Tuesday to play Galatasaray in the Champions League match-day two.
Having missed the first seven games in the Ligue 1, Mbappe who scored 33 goals with one assist last term will look to repeat the same feat on his return for the new season.
