Klopp Unhappy With Scheduling Of Man City-Liverpool Game
Jurgen Klopp has voiced his discontent at the scheduling of Liverpool's next Premier League game against Manchester City.
The top two will meet right after the international break at the Etihad Stadium on November 25, with the game slated for a lunchtime kickoff.
There is a strong South American contingent on both sides and there will be limited preparation time given their late arrivals after a long journey back.
“OK, no-one can say at the moment, but how can you put a game like this on Saturday at 12.30pm?” Klopp said.
“Is it the moment where the world pays the most to see a football game? I don’t know if that is the case, I really don’t.
“Honestly, the people making the decisions, they cannot feel football, it is just not possible.”
“You have these two teams who have, all together, about 30 international players. They all come back on the same plane from Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia,” added Klopp.
“One game, one plane, they all come back.”
