Tuchel Criticises Neymar For Attacking Fan

Paris Saint Germain manager, Thomas Tuchel, has rebuked Brazilian superstar, Neymar, for attacking a fan during Saturday’s Coupe de France final loss to Rennes.
Not for the first time this season, PSG capitulated to allow a healthy lead slip after early goals from Brazilian pair, Dani Alves and Neymar, were cancelled out by Rennes through a Presnel Kimpembe own goal and Mexer’s second half strike.
The game travelled to extra-time where Kylian Mbappe saw red for a bad foul before Christopher Nkunku’s costly miss in the penalty shoot-out handed the trophy to the underdogs.
As the Paris Saint Germain players lined up to collect their losers’ medals at the Stade de France, a fan could be seen exchanging words with Neymar whiles filming the incident.
In the heat of the moment, Neymar can be seen striking the fan in anger, an incident that occurred just a day after the former Barcelona forward had been banned for three games by UEFA for insulting match officials on social media.
Ahead of PSG’s Ligue 1 clash against Montpellier on Tuesday, Tuchel condemned Neymar’s attitude as unacceptable.
"I don't like it. You can't do that, you just can't do that," Tuchel said of the incident, which was caught on video by fans at the Stade de France.
"It's not easy to go up the steps after a defeat. It's very difficult for me, for everybody, but we have to accept it," Tuchel added.
"If we lose, we have to show respect. You can't get into a fight with a spectator."
"What I will say is that there are some players who love to win, and others who hate to lose."
