Solskjaer To Stick With De Gea For Huddersfield Trip

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will keep faith with David de Gea for Manchester United’s penultimate Premier League game of the season against Huddersfield Town despite the goalkeeper’s poor form.
De Gea has had a turbulent few weeks between the sticks for Manchester United after making errors leading to goals against Barcelona, Manchester City and Chelsea.
The 28-year-old Spanish goalkeeper has won Manchester United’s player of the year four times in the last six seasons and has bailed his team out with some eye-catching saves so many times.
Many pundits have suggested that Solskjaer drops De Gea for Manchester United’s final few games of the season but the Norwegian trainer is having none of that.
Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s trip to Huddersfield on Sunday, has made it clear that De Gea will be in post for the game.
"David's been training well this week and he will play," said Solskjaer.
"David has been fantastic this season," Solskjaer added. "Towards the end he's been in headlines for the wrong reasons but he has to deal with that. The goalkeeping department has experienced better times than just now but David is ready for Sunday.
"David's confident and looking forward to the next two games, he wants to prove how good a goalkeeper he is. The performances over the years, David's got all my confidence."
