Sadio Mane Wins PFA Player Of The Month for August

Liverpool’s Sadio Mane has been voted the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) Fans' Player of the Month of August.

Madio waded off challenges from Manchester City duo Sergio Aguero and Benjamin Mendy, Tottenham's’ Lucas Moura, Cardiff Citys’ inform goalkeeper Neil Etheridge, and Watford's’ star Roberto Pereyra.

Signing in the summer of 2016 from Southampton, Sadio Mane has developed to become Liverpool’s live wire and the Senegalese international has not been different in the 2018/19 Premier League season.

The new season commenced in August 2018, and Mane has scored three goals in the opening four games, netting a brace in the opening day fixture against West Ham and scoring a goal against Crystal Palace.
