Rafinha Wants Neymar

Brazil and Barcelona midfielder, Rafinha Alcantara hopes his former teammate Neymar Jnr rejoins Barcelona this summer.

After four seasons at Barcelona, scoring 105 goals, Neymar made a staggering €222 million switch to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

But spending just two years at the Parc de Princes, the Brazilian superstar has been linked with a return to Barcelona.

And Rafinha who played with the former Santos man is ever ready to welcome him back to the club.

"I hope Neymar comes back. He is a great player that would be really good for Barcelona.

"I have never seen anything like the Messi-Ney-Suarez trident, pure magic. And I hope [Antoine] Griezmann comes, too."

The potential arrivals of Griezmann and Neymar to Barcelona have linked several players at the club including Rafinha with a move away from the Camp Nou.

However, the 26-year-old midfielder is confident to remain with the side as he wants to fight for a place in the first team.

"I see myself in Barcelona next season and I will fight to continue," he said.

"I want to play football and Barcelona is my home, I have a contract with the club and I have a lot of confidence."

As a reported target for Valencia, Rafinha’s current contract with Barcelona is expected to expire in 2020.

Rafinha made just five appearances for Barcelona in the 2018/19 Spanish LaLiga season as he scored once in two Champions League games.
