Messi Out For Three Weeks

Lionel Messi will be out of action for about three weeks after the Barcelona ace was diagnosed with a fractured bone on Saturday.
The Barcelona captain would, as a result, miss Sunday’s El Classico against rivals Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.
Messi endured almost everything therein the sports as Barcelona beat Sevilla 4-2 at home to reclaim the top spot on the 2018/19 La Liga table.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was presented with the La Liga Player of the Month award for September before the match day-nine clash.
Messi assisted Philippe Coutinho, with a perfect through pass for the Brazilian to score in the 3rd minute, scored a sensational goal himself in the 10th minute, before leaving the pitch seven minutes later with his right hand in a bandage.
A statement from the Catalan club confirmed later on that the talisman has fractured a bone in the right hand and would be out for three weeks.
“Checks carried out on the first team player, Leo Messi, have confirmed that he has a fracture in the radial bone. He will be out for approximately three weeks."
Ernesto Valverde’s side has 18 points ahead of the clash with Real Madrid, who sits 5th on the log with 14 points.
The game would have been the first time Messi would have face the Los Blancos without their talisman Cristiano and fellow five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo, who left the European Champions to Juventus this season.
