Barcelona have completed the signing of Neto from fellow LaLiga side Valencia on Thursday.
Neto becomes the first summer signing for the club.
The Brazilian goalkeeper, Neto will be at the Camp Nou for the next four years.
After successful talks between Barcelona and Valencia, Barcelona made the news official after the goalkeeper’s former club Valencia had announced the development.
A club statement on Barcelona official website confirmed the transfer of the player from Valencia to the Catalan city.
“FC Barcelona and Valencia CF have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Norberto Murara Neto. The cost of the transaction will be €26 million plus €9m in add-ons.
"The player will be signing a contract with the club for the next four seasons, until the end of the 2022/23 season with his buyout clause set at €200 million.
"Details of the Brazilian goalkeeper’s presentation as a new Barça player will be released shortly.”
The transfer saw Barcelona’s goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen moved the other way.
Neto will see his contract expire at 33 as his release clause has been set at €200 million.
The Spanish giants are yet to announce his official presentation as a Barcelona player.
The Mestalla club allowed their goalkeeper who was asking for a salary increase to leave the side as Barcelona also let go of their Dutch shot-stopper who was unsatisfied because of limited first-team opportunities.
Neto will now see his request for a salary increase granted at Barcelona while Jasper Cillessen will enjoy more playing time at Mestalla as he will be the main man this time around.
