Aaron Ramsey Demands Pay Rise

Aaron Ramsey Demands Pay Rise

By Joshua Walters

Aaron Ramsey's contract expires this season, and the Arsenal midfielder is demanding for a pay rise and place in the attacking midfield department to pen a new deal.

The Wales international earns £110, 000 a week, but inside sources have confirmed to PredictionBoard.com the 27-year old player has asked for the same wages as the highest paid players in the team.

PredictionBoard.com can confirm Ramsey's other demand is that Arsenal Manager, Unai Emery, plays him in the attacking midfield area rather than usually using him as a winger.

Ramsey joined the Gunners from Cardiff City in 2008 and has been a regular player since then.

The Wales international thinks he makes enough influence in games and so deserves to be put on the same ladder as the highest earners.

The creative midfielder is resolute in his demands, but Arsenal think Ramsey does not deserve that range because he does not earn the club enough in worldwide commercials.

Ramsey could leave Arsenal for free next season if a new deal is not signed, and he may not be short of offers as he is a target of some clubs in England and across Europe.
