Chicharito Open To West Ham Exit

Javier Hernandez says he will be allowed to leave West Ham United this summer if the right offer comes along.
The 31-year-old Mexican international striker joined the Hammers from German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen two seasons ago for £16m on a three-year-deal and has made 61 appearances for the side, scoring 16 goals.
Almost half of Hernandez’s appearances in London have been from the bench, leaving the former Real Madrid loanee open to the possibility of plying his trade elsewhere.
"The team is working with us. [My agent] is the one more involved," the former Manchester United striker said on the first episode of a Youtube series Naked Humans. "He is Spanish so has more connections here.”
"He's searching for a club, if we can move. If not I will stay with West Ham easy, happy. I have one year left, but West Ham and I have decided it would just be easier to go out."
West Ham are thus facing a striker exodus after Spanish forward Lucas Perez was sold to Deportivo Alaves after just a season at the London stadium while injury-plagued Andy Carroll will move on when his contract expires at the end of the month.
Celta Vigo’s Uruguayan striker Maxi Gomes has been linked with a £22m move to West Ham to offset their dwindling forward lines.
Hernandez is Mexico’s all-time leading goalscorer with 51 goals from 108 caps, although he is not involved in their squad for the ongoing CONCACAF Gold Cup after asking to be excused to focus on the expected birth of his child.
