AC Milan Ready To Sign Fabregas In January
By Joshua Walters
AC Milan are set to sign midfielder Cesc Fabregas from Chelsea in the 2019 January Transfer window to augment the side badly hit with injuries.
The Italian club currently has seven first-team players on its injury list, and that has even been compounded with the addition of midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu who picked up a foot injury while on international duty with Turkey last Thursday.
Fabregas was a regular at Stamford Bridge under Antonio Conte but has dropped down the pecking order to become a bit-part player under Maurizio Sarri, and the Rossoneri are bent on bailing out the Spaniard to boost their side.
Cesc has made 191 appearances for Chelsea since joining the London side in 2014 and contributed 22 goals and 55 assists.
The 2010 World Cup winner won the Premier League title with the Blues under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte but has played just three games under Sarri this season with his current contract expected to run-out at the end of the season.
