Europa League Quarterfinal Draw: Ajax Drawn Against Roma, Man United vs Granada
The draw for the quarterfinal stage of the UEFA Europa League has been held this afternoon in Nyon, Switzerland, drawing up some mouthwatering ties.
Already some big guns have fallen by the wayside after the likes of AC Milan were eliminated by Manchester United on Thursday, and Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspurs were dumped out by Dinamo Zagreb.
2017 winners Manchester United are away in Spain for a date with Granada while Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal take on Slavia Prague.
Perhaps the biggest game of the round sees Ajax Amsterdam take on AS Roma while Dinamo Zagreb’s reward for eliminating Spurs will see them take on Villarreal.
The first legs for the last eight games will take place on 8th April while the second legs are on 15th April.
The final for this season’s Europa League will be held at the Stadion Energa Gdansk in Poland on May 26 2021.
Sevilla are the current holders of the competition after beating Inter Milan 3-2 at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne, Germany in August last year.
