Brazilian, Alex Sandro has committed his future to Juventus with a new long-term deal that will keep him at the club until 2023.

The left back's previous contract was expected to run out in 2020, and the player has ended speculations surrounding his future with a new four-and-a-half-year deal that will expire in the summer of 2023.

The Player expressed his delight after signing the contract and disclosed his ambitions for the club in the coming years.

“Today for me, my family and also for my teammates is a very happy day,” the 27-year-old said.

“To the fans, I would like to say that I will always give my best as I have done so far, and to keep improving."

“In the years that I’ve been here, I learned the mentality of the club and of my teammates. Here we always work to win and this will never change.”

Alex Sandro joined Juventus on a five-year contract in 2015 after a four-year spell with Portuguese side FC Porto.

The versatile left-footed player has played fourteen Serie A games for the Bianconerri this season and six games in the Champions League campaign.

Alex Sandro was on the wish list of a lot of clubs in Europe and a move to the English Premier League was reportedly close.

Alex Sandro’s contract extension has deflated the rumors and also given Juventus an added boost as the Serie A’s defending champions charge for an eighth consecutive title and the Champions League trophy this season.
