Solomon suffered the injury in training earlier this week and has undergone surgery.

The Israel international joined Spurs as a free agent this summer from Shakhtar Donestsk, having spent last season on loan at Fulham.

Solomon has appeared five times for Spurs in the Premier League so far and has provided two assists.

His last appearance was as a second half substitute in Tottenham's controversial 2-1 win over Liverpool last weekend.

A statement released by Ange Postecoglou's second placed side read: "We can confirm that Manor Solomon suffered a meniscus injury to his right knee in training this week.

"The forward has undergone surgery today and will commence his rehabilitation with our medical staff immediately."

Solomon will certainly miss the upcoming internationals for his country Israel, who are scheduled to play Kosovo and Switzerland in the qualifiers for EURO 2024 next week.

Solomon has won 37 caps for Israel, scoring seven goals.
