Rashford, Lingard Warned To Focus On Football Than Fashion
Manchester United forwards Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard have reportedly received a blatant warning from manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to concentrate on football and put aside their fashion aspirations.
Lingard, who owns himself a merchandise brand with name JLINGZ, has also launched a new label called 'Be Yourself'.
The two attacking players, after facing a backlash from some users on social media months ago when their videos during the off-season were mistakenly leaked are yet to garner for themselves mass support from the United ultras this term with their inconsistent performances after six games so far.
Though Rashford has managed to bulge the net three times while Lingard, who is not in his best form is yet to score for the Red Devils let alone hold a permanent spot in the match-day squad for the side.
According to a report by The Sun, the Norwegian trainer and his assistant Mike Phelan in an attempt to restore the team’s winning spirit, held a meeting with the England internationals and urged them to home in on their football careers instead of fashion.
Having played six games thus far, United are eleventh in the table with 8 points, recording two wins, two losses and two draws and will look to gain maximum points when they host Arsenal at the Theatre of Dreams on Monday.
