Zaire-Emery picked up the injury in a challenge leading up to his first goal for France in their 14-0 win over Gibraltar in a EURO 2024 qualifier over the weekend.

The 17-year-old was making his debut for his country in that encounter but endured a bittersweet experience before leaving the field after just 20 minutes of play.

PSG have confirmed that the ankle injury suffered by their academy product on national team duty will keep him away from first team action for the rest of the year, starting with Friday's Ligue 1 encounter against AS Monaco.

“Warren Zaire-Emery suffered a medium-serious sprain in his right ankle and will remain in treatment until the winter break,” a PSG statement read.

Zaire-Emery has made 15 appearances for PSG this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
