Kane Matches Agüero Record With Premier League Player Of The Month For March Win
Tottenham Hotspurs striker Harry Kane has been voted the Premier League's player of the month for a seventh time.
Kane equals the record by former Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero, who also won the award seven times during his decade-long stay in England.
Kane wins the award for March after scoring four goals and laying on two assists for his teammates.
The England captain topped an eight-man shortlist that included Bukayo Saka, Kai Havertz, Trevor Chalobah, Matty Cash, Ivan Toney, Dejan Kulusevski and Andy Robertson.
Kane's goal against Brighton and Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium saw him saw him surpass Wayne Rooney to become the Premier League's all-time top away goalcorer with 95 goals.
Elsewhere, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta beat Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp, Antonio Conte and Brendan Rodgers to the manager of the month award.
It is the second time Arteta has won manager of the month this season, having also done so in September.
Arsenal won three out of their four matches in March to enhance their UEFA Champions League push.
