Rashford To Sign New Deal With Man United
By Joshua Walters
Marcus Rashford is close to signing a contract extension with Manchester United with the club said to have presented a new deal to him.
The English player has been in an impressive form this season, having scored six goals in ten games under caretaker manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Rashford's impressive run has earned him a permanent role under the Norwegian with Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku playing second fiddle.
Reports in England say that the player is willing to commit his future to the club for as long as his current weekly wage of £75,000 can be doubled.
Anthony Martial signed a five-year contract extension with the club last week, and the Old Trafford outfit is looking to add it's academy graduate to the fray.
Rashford's contract expires in 2020, and the club is looking to sign him onto a long-term deal despite the current deal giving it the option to extend it for a further year.
Real Madrid are said to be on the heels of the player, who has also been recommended to Barcelona by several pundits of the game.
Marcus Rashford graduated from the club’s academy in 2015 and was given his first-team shot by former Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal, in a Premier League game against Watford.
