juanfran out with hamstring injury

Atletico Madrid have confirmed that defender Juanfran Torres has sustained a hamstring injury.

The Madrid-based club was, however, not definite on how long the injury will keep the right-back on the sidelines.

Juanfran received a knock to his left leg and was forced out of Atletico Madrid’s 1-0 home win over neighbors Rayo Vallacano on Saturday.

An MRI scan conducted on the right-back player revealed a muscular problem in the left leg.

Diego Simone has a replacement in defender, Santiago Arias, but the issue surrounding the Colombia player is that he is yet to make a La Liga match-day squad since he joined the club from PSG this summer.
