Rashford was on target once again on Sunday as United dispatched Leicester City 3-0 at Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old moved up to a career-best 24 goals across all competitions with a brace against the Foxes, as Erik Ten Hag's side moved five points behind leaders Arsenal, having played a game more.

Man United will face Barcelona at Old Trafford on Thursday in the second leg of their Europa League play-off tie, with the first leg ending 2-2 in Spain.

The Red Devils will then look to end a six-year trophy drought against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday.

The England international told Sky Sports: "Overall a good day. They created good opportunities and David [de Gea] made a great save at the end of the first half, without that we can't go on to win the game.

"It's still early in the season, we're fighting for a lot of different things.

"We have another big game in the week to hopefully go through to the next round of the Europa League and then a massive game for us [against Newcastle].

"I don't feel like slowing down and always want to improve."

"We're close but both teams in front of us are good teams and playing good football," he added on United's title chances.

"We have to just focus on ourselves, do as well as we can and keep picking up points."
