Harry Kane Set For Spurs Reunion In Pre-Season Friendly Game With Bayern Munich
Harry Kane is set for a swift return to Tottenham Hotspurs for a pre-season friendly game with Bayern Munich on August 10.
Spurs and Bayern Munich will play in the Visit Malta Cup a week before the start of the 2024/2025 campaign.
Kane left the North London club for Bayern Munich last summer for an initial £86m and has already scored 37 goals in 35 games.
The 30-year-old remains Tottenham's all-time leading goalscorer with 280 goals in 435 games.
Also returning to North London for the game will be former Spurs defender Eric Dier, who joined Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
A statement on the Tottenham website read: “This mouth-watering curtain-raiser to the new season takes on extra significance, with the club’s all-time leading goalscorer, Harry Kane and long-serving defender Eric Dier having recently joined the Bundesliga champions.
“This will be a 12th meeting with Bayern in our history and only the fourth to have taken place on home soil.
“We memorably overcame the German giants on our way to UEFA Cup success 40 years ago.”
