Manchester United travel to France to play Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday, and Ashely Young is confident his side could turn things around at the Parc de Princess.
The English side was humbled 2-0 at Old Trafford in the first leg knockout round tie, courtesy goals from Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe.
The French outfit thus have their noses in front going into the second leg fixture, but the Manchester United's versatile player is of the view that the Red Devils should not be written off yet as they have the quality to turn things around in the game
“We know what we’re capable of. People can write us off. People were writing us off at the start of the season and people are writing us off now. It’s no different.
“Obviously it’s going to be tough. It’s not going to be easy. We’ve got to go over there, win the game and score goals.
“I’ve got every faith if we defend well and if we create the chances that I know we can do, we can win the game."
Young, in a pre-match presser told reporters the club’s philosophy has always been fighting to the end which that could turn the results in their favor.
“That’s exactly what it is. We’ve got to go out there and win the game. We can’t worry too much about them, it’s all about us.
"That’s the club’s way, the United way. Never say die."
Manchester United were unbeaten under caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before the loss to PSG last month and have since drawn once and won twice in the Premier League in their lead-up games to Wednesday’s clash.
