UEFA Releases 2018/19 Champions League Round Of 16 Fixtures.

UEFA has released the matches for the round of sixteen stage of this season's Champions League competition, drawing up some interesting pairings.

The pairings released from UEFA's headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, paired defending champions, Real Madrid, against Ajax with the first leg of the elimination tie slated for Amsterdam.

Last season's loosing finalists Liverpool play Bayern Munich with their England rivals Manchester United also earning a difficult tie against French champions, Paris Saint-Germain.

The fixtures will start in Feburary and will be played over two legs and the team with the most aggregate number of goals will progress while the opposite will be kicked out of the competition.
