Kylian Mbappe

Monaco to PSG in 2017, £165.7m 

Kylian Mbappe is the most expensive teenage signing and also second most expensive signing in football after £200 million Neymar.

Paris Saint-Germain initially recruited Mbappe on loan from Monaco having an option to make the deal permanent before signing him the following year.

In 2018/19 season, the difficult to control forward scored 33 goals in 29 Ligue 1 games. 

Joao Felix 

Benfica to Atletico Madrid in 2019, £113m 

Shocking the football environment, Atletico Madrid signed the Portuguese teenager Joao Felix for £113 million.

After completing his move from Benfica, Joao Felix became the fifth most expensive transfer in history.

At Benfica, the wonderkid made 26 appearances in Portugal's Primeira Liga and scored 15 times, a display Atleti will look up to him to deliver same or more than that going forward.

Ajax to Juventus in 2019, £67.8m 

Graduating through Ajax’s youth ranks, De Ligt became a mainstay in the Ajax squad in two exceptional seasons as he was named the club's youngest captain.

As a bloomer, many consider him to take on the best central defender mantle in the near future.

Having an impressive season with Ajax in the 2018/19 season, the 19-year-old helped the side to reach the Champions League semi-final for the first time in 23 years. 

Anthony Martial

Monaco to Man Utd in 2015, £58m 

With Arsenal missing out on Martial, Manchester United signed him in 2015 as he became the world's most expensive teenager when he moved to Manchester United for an initial fee of £36 million which raised to £58 million.

Since joining United, the goal conscious winger has scored 34 goals in 113 Premier League games.

Santos to Real Madrid in 2019, £40m 

Real Madrid spent £40 million before securing the18-year-old’s services from Santos.

Goes scored nine goals in 41 games for Santos and is said to be blessed with raw talent though might not be a first-team regular yet, but in football, everything is possible. 

Vinicius Junior

Flamengo to Real Madrid in 2018, £38.7m 

Spanish giants Real Madrid spent a lot to bring Vinicius to the Santiago Bernabeu because they see him to be great in the future.

The 19-year-old forward was integral in the Madrid squad in the 2018/19 season before an injury sidelined him as he excepts to replicate the same feat in the coming season.

Sao Paulo to PSG in 2012, £35.5m 

At just age 19, Paris Saint-Germain confirmed the signing of Brazilian talisman Lucas Moura for a fee of £35.5 million in August 2012, letting him remain with Sao Paulo until January.

PSG after completing his transfer to France ended the pursuit of all potential suitors.

Southampton to Man Utd in 2014, £31m 

Though Shaw has not been influential at Manchester United but his superb performances in the 2018/19 season awarded him Manchester United Players' Player of the Year and Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year. 

Wayne Rooney

Everton to Man Utd in 2004, £27m 

Manchester United signed Wayne Rooney for £27 million as he became the most expensive teenage signing in the world at that time, beaten fellow Premier League club Newcastle United to his signature.

Rooney became a mainstay in the United squad after arriving at the Theatre of Dreams, scoring 253 goals in 559 games, a status previously enjoyed by Sir Bobby Charlton.

In a thirteen-year spell with Manchester United, Rooney won five Premier League titles, one Champions League and other numerous honours before joining his boyhood club, Everton. 

Renato Sanches

Benfica to Bayern Munich in 2016, £27.5m 

Having impressed with both club and country, Renato Sanches attracted interest from top European clubs as he was linked with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United before German giants Bayern Munich jumped to the queue to sign him in the summer 2016.

After joining Bayern Munich for £27.5 million, Renato Sanches has failed to leave up to expectations in the football fraternity as he was loaned to Swansea City where he fell out of favour in 2017/18.
