Suarez: Madrid Still Dangerous Without Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo featured in thirty games for Real Madrid against Barcelona and scored eighteen goals, and the two sides meet in the El Classico with the player no longer at the club, but Luis Suarez insists the Los Blancos are still dangerous without the Portuguese ace.

Barcelona welcome their bitterest rivals to Camp Nou for this season’s first El Classico, which for the first time in ten years, would see both Lionel Messi and Ronaldo missing out at both ends.

Suarez disclosed his views on the game to Barcelona TV and maintained that Real Madrid are still a threat even without Ronaldo, who switched to Juventus this summer.

"We all know what kind of player Cristiano Ronaldo is, but a team is always above any single player. They have other great players who can make the difference.”

"We have to play our game without thinking about which players our opponents have."
