Real Madrid have agreed to sign Chelsea star Eden Hazard on a deal that could be worth over £130m million on Friday.

Hazard will be presented as a Madrid player on June 13 at the Santiago Bernabeu after completing a medical.

The Belgium national team captain has agreed to sign a five-year contract with the White Angels.

The signing of the former Lille forward becomes Zinedine Zidane's fourth signing after securing the services of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic, Porto's Eder Militao and Rodrygo Goes from Santos.

Hazard, after joining Chelsea from Lille in 2012 bagged 110 goals in 35 appearances.

The Premier League's Playmaker of The Season was an integral figure for the side last season, having helped the side booked a Champions League spot with their third placed on the league log and Europa League title as he scored twice in the final at Baku against Arsenal.

The Belgian forward had just a year left on his contract with the Blues as he could have left on a free transfer if he had played out his contract.

Hazard, after the announcement on Friday wrote on his Facebook account.

"You now know that I will be joining Real Madrid. It's no secret that it was my dream to play for them since I was a young boy just scoring my first goal.

"Now the clubs have reached an agreement I hope you understand I had to pursue my next chapter, just as each and every one of you should when you have the chance to pursue your dreams.

"Leaving Chelsea is the biggest and toughest decision in my career to date. Now it's in the open I would like to put on record one thing was always clear to me, I have loved every moment at Chelsea and not once did I ever consider, nor would I have left for any other club."

Aside his pivotal role at club level, Hazard has been a key prospect for the Belgium national team having guided the side to a third-place finish at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
