Marquinhos Wants Neymar To Remain At PSG

Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos wants club and country teammate Neymar to remain with the French giants.
Neymar has been linked with a return to Barcelona after PSG’s president Nasser Al-Khelaifi disclosed he will not fancy any celebrity lifestyle from the players as many see the statement as an indirect dig to the former.
The world’s most expensive player was ruled out for the Copa America due to ankle ligament damage and Marquinhos who played all minutes in Brazil’s goalless draw against Venezuela on Tuesday is confident the football joggler will stay at the Parc de Princess.
"A player of Neymar's calibre, the difference he makes... as a team-mate, friend and fan, I want him to stay at Paris Saint-Germain," the 25-year-old defender told reporters.
"He knows what he has to do, our president also knows what he has to do. I do not know [about] the conversation they had."
Neymar joined the Paris outfit in a world recording fee of €222 million in 2017 having signed a five-year contract.
The former Santos forward netted 15 goals in seventeen Ligue 1 games aside his 5 goals in six Champions League appearances in the 2018/19 season.
Neymar has not had the best of his two seasons at the club with injury having the major part of his career in France as the recent one ruled him out in both legs of the Champions League round of 16 against Manchester United.
