Kagawa Seeking Spain Move From Dortmund
By Max Wise
Japan star Shinji Kagawa is plotting a move to Spain due to limited playing time at German club, Borussia Dortmund.
Kagawa has had just two Bundesliga appearances this season, following the rapid rise of English youngster, Jadon Sancho, and Deutsche, Marco Reus’ impressive form.
Dortmund are yet to lose in the Bundesliga this season, having stormed to the top of the table with 30 points from 12 games.
Kagawa, who is in his second spell at the club after returning from Manchester United in 2014, thinks this may be a good time to discover something different again.
"I want to solve the current situation as soon as possible," the 29-year-old told Nikkan Sports.
"One way is to change the team. I want to change the environment and challenge."
"I have played in Dortmund and Manchester United, no matter what country I go to, I will not be afraid."
"I have always been thinking about how I can go to Spain in the last couple of years. I can't retire without going to Spain. This is the most important challenge in my career."
