Felipe Luis To Decide Atletico Madrid Future After Copa America

Brazil and Atletico Madrid left-back, Felipe Luis, says a decision on his future at the Rojiblancos will be made after participating in the upcoming Copa America.
The 33-year-old’s contract in Madrid expires by the time the Copa America comes to a close, leaving his future up in the air.
Spanish champions Barcelona have been linked with a move for the former Chelsea defender as competition for Jordi Alba, but Luis, who was named in Brazil’s squad at the expense of Real Madrid’s Marcelo, says he will not make a decision on his next destination until after the South American tournament.
"On the interest of other clubs, obviously my contract ends," Filipe Luis told reporters. "I have both the possibility of staying at Atletico and leaving.
"And the doors are open but, as I have said, I already talked with the club and I have already said that I will not speculate.
"I will not say yes to any club before finishing the Copa America, first out of respect for the national team and for my concentration."
Luis is in his second spell at Atletico Madrid after spending the 2014/2015 season at Chelsea, where he won the Premier League and League Cup, before returning to the Spanish capital when he found first team opportunities in London hard to come by.
Luis’ Atletico Madrid career has brought him a Spanish La Liga title, one Copa del Rey, two Europa League trophies and two UEFA super cups.
