Fabregas Hits Back At Twitter Troll With Barcelona Achievements

AS Monaco midfielder Cesc Fabregas has hit back at a twitter troll who questioned the wisdom in his move from Arsenal to Barcelona in the summer of 2011.
Fabregas arrived at Arsenal as a 16-year-old in 2003 from Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy but rejoined the Blaugrana in 2011 after developing to become captain of the Gunners.
In three years at Barcelona, Fabregas won the Spanish League title and the Copa del Rey, among numerous other trophies as well as making more than 150 appearances at the Camp Nou despite competition for places in a midfield that included Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets.
Fabregas’ consistency was called into question at times, and that eventually led to his departure for the blue half of London when he joined Chelsea in 2014.
Fabregas posted a jersey collection of the clubs he has represented in his career as a professional on Twitter, asking his fans which one of them brought the best memories.
“The one where you were Arsenal captain. You traded that to sit on the bench at Barcelona,” came the reply from one seemingly bitter Arsenal fan who has probably not gotten over Fabregas’ exit from the Emirates stadium eight years ago.
Fabregas quickly responded to the fan with a list of his achievements at Barcelona by tweeting: "I started in 121 games out of the 151 I played... I won 6 titles, I scored in 2 finals, won a league of 100 points having played 36 games, 43 goals and 47 assists... but yeah, cool."
Arsenal had a first-refusal option on resigning Fabregas as his Barcelona days drew to a close but Arsene Wenger opted against it and he ended up at Chelsea instead.
