Evra Expects Pogba To Leave Manchester United

Former Manchester United defender, Patrice Evra, expects Paul Pogba to leave the club ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
Pogba has come under intense criticism after a mixed season that began with a fractured relationship with former manager Jose Mourinho before the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim manager saw an improvement in his performances.
The French World Cup winner’s output tailed off again towards the end of the season as Manchester United finished the Premier League in sixth place, missing out on a Champions League position next season.
Pogba’s position at the club has also not been helped by his open declaration of admiration for Real Madrid whiles on international duty with France recently, and he was also involved in an angry confrontation with a section of the Manchester United fans after last Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to relegated Cardiff City at Old Trafford.
Despite his up-and-down season, Pogba finished the campaign as Manchester United’s top scorer with 13 league goals and nine assists; good enough to earn him a place in the PFA Team of the year.
Evra, who won five Premier League titles and the 2008 UEFA Champions League with Manchester United, however expects Pogba to leave Old Trafford as a result of being made a scapegoat for the Red Devils’ poor season.
“I don't want to blame all the players because I think that some players are here [at United] and they themselves don't even know why they are here,” the former Red Devils defender told Sky Sports.
“I think [Pogba] will leave, because you need to feel the love when you play somewhere, you need to be committed. If Paul decides to stay another year and then leave, or stay another few years, maybe the fans will love him because he is committed.
“It's not like I am protecting Paul but when there are incidents like with the fan, they are killing Paul.”
