Courtois Wants Madrid To Sign Hazard Not Neymar

Thibaut Courtois has revealed his preference for Eden Hazard over Neymar as he has urged Real Madrid to sign the Chelsea player rather than the Paris Saint-Germain ace.

Hazard and Neymar have continuously been linked with Real Madrid although the club is yet to make any formal contact on any of them.

Courtois admits it is the club's decision to choose which of the two it will recruit, but would prefer his national teammate, Hazard, over the Brazilain playmaker.

"I [would] choose Eden, of course. I really like him, but the choice is up to the board.

"I do not know what will happen. That is not a question for me, but for the chairman and the management."

"The team is what it is now. Karim Benzema is in a good shape and scored 17 goals. [Gareth] Bale started well, but then had to deal with injuries."

"You see in the matches that we have quality, only sometimes it is not possible to score."

The former Chelsea goalkeeper joined Madrid last summer with a six-year contract.
