Marko Arnautovic has provided a hint on his possible movement from West Ham United with his brother-agent also revealing that the player could leave the London club in January 2019.

Arnautovic told Kurier whiles on national duty, he wants to play with a top club, but has left his future in the hands of his brother and agent, Danijel.

"I'm 29, so that's the best age. It's clear that I want to compete with the best players. But in this affair, I totally trust my brother,” Arnautovic said of his future.

Danijel added in a later interview: "He's already playing in the Premier League and that's where the best players are. But for a player like Marko, this cannot be the end.”

Arnautovic joined the Hammers from Stoke City for £25m in the summer of 2017 and has become a fan favourite at the London Stadium.

The bulky striker netted eleven Premier League goals last season and has five already this season.

"He's a big part of West Ham's team, but I think it's possible to tease out more about him. For that to happen, he has to play for a top team.

"Marko is ready for the next step. A player like him should not play against relegation. He should play for the international spots.”

Danijel answered in the affirmative when asked if Arnautovic could leave in the January transfer window.

"That's possible. It was already very, very close this last summer,” Danijel said of the player who was heavily linked with Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
