West Ham's Coufal Sacked From Czech Camp For Clubbing
West Ham United defender Vladimir Coufal has been sacked from the camp of the Czech Republic national team ahead of their crucial EURO 2024 qualifier against Moldova on Monday.
Czech Republic will need to avoid defeat against the Moldovans to seal their place at next summer's European championships in Germany.
But they will have to negotiate their final qualifier at home without the experienced Coufal as well as Jakub Brabek and Jan Kuchta.
The trio were seen partying at a nightclub in Olomouc on Saturday night, which the Czech FA sees as unacceptable.
All three players featured in a 1-1 draw against Poland on Friday.
A statement published by the Czech FA read: "Three players fundamentally violated the internal rules of the national team on Saturday night.
"Jakub Brabec, Vladimir Coufal and Jan Kuchta have left the national team meeting with immediate effect by the decision of the management."
Coufal has won 38 caps for the Czechs since making his debut in 2017.
He has featured 12 times in the Premier League for West Ham United this season, assisting four times.
