Wanda Nara Rules Out Juventus Move For Icardi

Mauro Icardi’s wife and agent, Wanda Nara, says her client will not be moving to Juventus next season.

Wanda Nara Rules Out Juventus Move For Icardi

Icardi is on a season-long loan deal from Inter Milan to French champions Paris Saint Germain, where he has impressed in his short spell.

The 26-year-old Argentina international has made 16 appearances in all competitions and has found the back of the net 13 times already.

Though Icardi departed the San Siro on bad terms after being stripped off the captaincy in the second half of last season and losing his place in the first team, he signed a new two-year contract to drive up his price tag before leaving.

Paris Saint Germain reportedly have the option to make Icardi’s stay permanent at the end of the season for €70m.

Icardi was linked with Juventus before making the temporary switch to the Parc des Princes but the move stalled as he did not want to upset the Inter Milan fans by joining a direct rival.

Nara insists her husband is enjoying his time in the French capital and any move to the Italian champions is not on the cards.

"No, no. The present of Mauro is in Paris, he is very well there and is realising some crazy goals as he always did," Nara told Rete 4.

"The only thing that interests me is his happiness and he is very happy at PSG."

"I have wonderful memories of San Siro and the Interisti. And as I always say, the real heartfelt Interisti know that we have always been on the team's side," she added.

"And this choice to go to Paris was also made so as not to betray the Nerazzurri.

"We left each other without betrayal, Mauro went to a club that he couldn't say no to and even for Inter it went well."
