Salah Keen To Move On From Ramos Clash Ahead Of Real Madrid Reunion

Salah suffered a shoulder dislocation in the first half after a coming-together with the Real Madrid captain in Kyiv and the Egyptian international was forced to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines.

In Salah’s absence, Liverpool went on to lose 3-1, with many wondering what might have been had he stayed on the pitch for the entire game.

Salah and Ramos will meet yet again next week at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in the first leg of this seasons Champions League quarterfinal and many will be anticipating a mouthwatering battle between the two.

But Salah is not too keen on reopening old wounds and is only intent on helping Liverpool get past the Spanish champions.

"That game is in the past, so I don't think about [what happened with Ramos]," Salah told Marca. "I'm thinking about the team. Everyone is focused on their team and everyone wants to win... that's it.

"Let's just say that I have special motivation to win the tie and go through to the semi-finals. What's going to happen now isn't going to change the result of the final in Kyiv. That's in the past.

"I think we're both strong. Both teams have won their last two games in the Champions League. Both teams are prepared. It's a special competition and both teams are doing well in it."
