Moyes Offered New West Ham Contract But Will Make Decision At End Of Season

Moyes' current deal expires at the end of this season but he has come under pressure recently following a winless start to the year.

West Ham have not won any of their eight games in 2024, losing their last three Premier League matches and getting knocked out of the FA Cup by Bristol City.

Moyes has been in charge of the Hammers since December 2019 and led them to the Europa Conference League trophy last season.

“There’s a contract there for me," Moyes told reporters ahead of West Ham hosting Brentford in the Premier League on Monday.

“I’m the one deciding I want to wait until the end of the season, to make sure everything is correct, to concentrate on this season.

“I’ve really enjoyed my four years. I’ll see my contract out.

“There are plenty of reasons. I’ve got to make sure it’s the right thing for the club, for me and my family. I’ve spoken to the board. I’ve had a fabulous four years. We’ll sort it out but I’m happy to wait.”

West Ham have been paired with Freiburg in the last 16 of the Europa League.
