‘I Don’t Like This Team At All’- Mourinho Blasts Man United’s Performance Against West Ham
Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has blasted the performance of the Red Devils against West Ham United on Sunday.
Manchester United continued their lackluster start to the season with a 2-0 defeat to the Hammers, a result which marked their second defeat of the season after just six games.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho as Manchester United manager in December last year but despite a bright start, there has been little improvement in the side’s performances ever since.
Mourinho is of the opinion while the team he left behind was bad, Solskjaer’s have failed to improve despite injecting new blood into the squad.
The likes of Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Valencia, Ander Herrera and Chris Smalling have all departed Old Trafford while Daniel James, Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have been brought to the club.
Asked on Sky Sports whether he could find any positives in United's performance, Mourinho said: "No… I can't find.
"We were bad last season but I don't see any improvement this season, even with three new players – and I have to say players with a positive impact. I like these three and I think they are bringing some good quality to the team.
"But the team as a team, I don't like at all. I am not surprised by the result and I don't think Ole can take any positives from the game."
Next up for Manchester United in the Premier League is a home game against Arsenal next weekend.
