Bournemouth Sign Danjuma From Club Brugge
Vitality Stadium outfit, Bournemouth have completed the signing of Arnaut Danjuma from Club Brugge for a reported fee of £13.7 million.
After signing a long-term deal, Danjuma becomes Bournemouth's fourth signing for the summer transfer window, having already secured the services of Lloyd Kelly, Jack Stacey and Philip Billing.
Having passed through the ranks of PSV Eindhoven, the 22-year-old winger joined NEC Nijmegen in 2016 where he featured forty times, scoring 12 goals for the Eniesee before moving to Club Brugge in 2018.
Danjuma, after finalising the deal expressed his delight of joining a club like Bournemouth;
"Coming to AFC Bournemouth is a really good step up for me," Danjuma told afcbTV. "The Premier League is a great place to play your football, especially at a club like this.
"I'm excited to be here. The last 24 hours have been a bit crazy but I'm delighted to be at the club and I've only heard positive things about it.
"I think the way the team plays suits my style, I like to attack and I cannot wait to get started."
The Nigerian-born Dutch winger recorded 6 goals with twenty-four assists in all competitions for Club Brugge, helping them finished second in the Belgium league last season.
With the activeness of Bournemouth in the transfer market this summer, The Cherries will look to make an impact in the 2019/20 Premier League season.
Eddie Howe's side will begin their campaign with a game against newly-promoted side Sheffield United on August 10 at the Vitality Stadium.
