Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has signed a new three-year contract, keeping him at the Etihad Stadium until 2023.
The 23-year old former Liverpool forward will reportedly earn up to £300,000 a week.
Sterling's previous contract was set to expire at the end of next summer, and speculation regarding his future had begun to swell with Real Madrid said to be in the picture.
Sterling joined City from Liverpool in the summer of 2015 for £49m and has gone on to make 106 Premier League appearances and scored 37 goals.
Sterling was one of the Sky Blues’ most influential players last season as his 23 goals helped propel the Citizens to the Premier League title and the Carabao Cup.
"I'm delighted to sign. My development here has been incredible," said Sterling.
"I felt from the minute I got here it was the right choice for me. It's paid off and I'm really grateful."
Sterling has seven goals and as many assists from 14 appearances in all competitions this season.
