Spurs Lose Dier For A Month

Tottenham Hotspurs have been dealt a major injury blow with the news that the versatile Eric Dier will be sidelined for close to a month.

This follows a minor operation conducted on the player to remove his appendix.

Dier complained to the club’s medical staff about having abdominal pains and further checks on him revealed he had appendicitis.

The 24-year-old former Sporting Lisbon man will therefore miss Tottenham’s north London derby clash with Arsenal in the EFL Cup quarterfinal on Wednesday.

Dier has played thirteen times for Spurs in the Premier League this season, scoring two goals.
