Ronaldinho Owes

A judge has ordered for the seizure of Ronaldinho’s passport over an unpaid €2 million debt after the court found that the retired football icon has only €6 in his bank account, according to Marca.
The Spanish sports news outlet reports on Tuesday the 38-year-old Brazil World Cup winner was fined for illegal construction in a protected area alongside his brother four years ago.
The former PSG, Barcelona and AC Milan player failed to service the debt, allowing interest to accrue on it over time.
The Spanish newspaper reports that Ronaldinho put up some property on a mortgage in the hope of paying off the debt, but that was not successful.
The court in Brazil, in its attempt to retrieve the debt, however, found that the former Barcelona and AC Milan star had €6 in his bank accounts.
The Ballon d'Or winner retired from club football in 2015 after making only seven appearances for Fluminense before his contract was terminated.
He announced his retirement from all forms of football in 2018 and has been an ambassador for Barcelona since 2017.
