Pulisic To Chelsea Rumors Gathering Pace

United States of America's wonderkid Christian Pulisic’s proposed exit from Borussia Dortmund is gathering pace with Chelsea reported to be his likeliest destination.

The 20-year-old, whose contract expires in the summer of 2020, has scored three goals and provided four assists in twelve appearances for the Black and Yellows this season.

Pulisic has reportedly rejected a new contract from Lucien Favre's side as interest builds up around him with Liverpool, Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United all said to be interested in his services.

Chelsea, however, have stepped up their efforts to sign the highly rated midfielder after they were threatened with a transfer ban by FIFA for illegally signing under-age players earlier in the week.

Dortmund may like to cash in on Pulisic in January 2019, rather than risk losing him for free when his current deal enters its final year next season.

Pulisic stoked the fire on his future by suggesting he would like to play in England before the Three Lions' friendly with the USA at Wembley Stadium last Thursday.

He said: “England, the Premier League, is where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why one day I won’t play here.”

“We are having a great year at Dortmund and I am enjoying every moment of that."

“When the time comes for me to talk in the breaks about my future, that’s when those things will happen.”
