Post-Match Rant Lands Mourinho FA Charge

Under-fire Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho, has been charged by the FA following comments he made in the aftermath of his side’s comeback win over Newcastle on October 6.
The FA announced on Tuesday the beleaguered Portuguese trainer has been captured on video making derogatory comments as he left the pitch after his side’s comeback win against Newcastle United.
The Red Devils went down to two first-half goals, but turned the game on its head in the second half as they scored three goals to win 3-2.
Mourinho has already steered Manchester United to their worst start to the Premier League in 29 years this year, and the match day-eight encounter was one that many people thought would have been his last at the club if the Red Devils had dropped points.
The win over the Magpies brought back life to Mourinho, and the FA has given him until 5 pm Friday to respond to some alleged intemperate comments he made while on his way into the dugout.
"Jose Mourinho has been charged following Manchester United's game against Newcastle United on October 6, 2018," read the FA’s statement.
"It is alleged that his language at the end of the fixture, as captured by the broadcast footage, was abusive and/or insulting and/or improper."
