Neymar Returns To France For PSG

Desperate to leave France forward, Neymar has joined his Paris Saint-Germain teammates for their pre-season campaign though missed the training session on Monday.

The Brazilian talisman was anxious for a move away from the Parc de Princes after spending just two years with the side.

But failing to secure a move this summer, the former Santos forward has returned to France to catch-up with his pals for their pre-season.

Neymar is said to have angered the Ligue 1 champions after he refused to be present for the commencement of the side’s pre-season tour.

Though the troubled player's representatives informed the club of the reason why the wantaway winger will be late to join his colleagues in France, having waited for the world finals of Red Bull Neymar Jnr’s five-a-side tournament, which he organises every summer in his country.

After four seasons at Barcelona, scoring 105 goals, Neymar made a staggering €222 million switch to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017.

Neymar scored 15 goals in seventeen Ligue 1 games with seven assists while his six Champions League appearances yielded 5 goals in the 2018/19 season for the Parc de Princess outfit.

Having been linked with a return to Barcelona, the football joggler’s switch seems to hang in a balance after the Catalona outfit completed the signing of Atletico Madrid’s wizard, Antoine Griezmann last week for £108 million.

And reports are that Neymar can only join Barcelona if the club offload one of their wingers, either Ousmane Dembele or Philippe Coutinho to raise funds for his purchase.

PSG will begin their pre-season exercise in Asia with a friendly against Inter Milan on Saturday 27 July before a clash with LaLiga side Espanyol at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Center.

Despite Barcelona's aquisition of Griezmann, Neymar, to rewear the Barca shirt is still possible as the LaLiga champions have left the door ajar for the 27-year-old.
