Neymar Eyes Barcelona Return

By Joshua Walters

Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar Junior is aching for a return to former club Barcelona, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Brazil national team captain forced a move to PSG in 2016 after the French champions met the player’s €222 million buyout clause, much to the dissatisfaction of the Barcelona hierarchy.

Neymar has won the Ligue 1 title twice on a row with PSG, but there are reports the Brazil poster-boy has not settled to life in Spain as he was the subject of several transfer rumors this summer.

The 26-year-old was linked to Barcelona rivals Real Madrid in the summer, but Mundo Deportivo claims on Friday the Brazillian prefers returning to Barcelona, to the European Champions.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Neymar has been paying frequent visits to his former Barcelona teammates in Spain with the Spanish newspaper revealing that Neymar has told a host of Barcelona players he wants to return to the club.
